I have a Grafalloy Attack Lite wood shaft at home. Would this be a good fit for the Thriver Driver Head? The shaft weight is 66 g, and is butt trim only.

Lawrence,
That will be impossible to say not knowing what shafts you have played recently that you have played well with. If your current driver and/or fairways has a shaft with similar specs to the AttackLite, you should be fine using it.

what shaft do u recomend for the thriver ? my driver distance is 200-220 yds. would a hybrid shaft work if the playing length is 43.5 in long thanks
Question by: kevin Wallace on Apr 30, 2021, 2:52 PM
A hybrid shaft will not work in this head because it requires a 0.335" wood shaft. As far as what shaft to use, select a shaft that you have had success with lately in a driver or fairway or one with similar weight, flex and ball flight.

I would like to build this driver, but looking for a shaft recommendation. Im currently playing a Callaway X2 Hot driver 11* with an Aldia ATX55 r flex shaft at 45". My iron swing speed is 76mph. My tempo is slight past medium to aggressive. My current misses is a solid right shot. But, having good success with the above callaway. Thanks, Dynacraft Grad October 2000.

Aldila never came out with the Tour Blue in a 55 gram weight for the aftermarket, so that was a special make up for Callaway and one where there is limited information. Of the current Aldila shafts, I would suggest the NVS NXT 55 Orange as most suitable. In another line, possibly UST's V2 55..
