In relation to DSFI rating, how much effect does hard/soft stepping have on these shafts and/or steel shafts in general ?

Should a ladies hybrid 5I be trimmed the same as a standard 5I? Cut to the same length as a standard 5I?
Question by: Michael Gamble on Oct 24, 2016, 2:17 PM
Michael,
Only if that hybrid weighs the same as a standard 5-iron (@ 256g). If it weighs closer to 249g, then treat it as a 4-iron for both tip trimming and length.

Do you have a dsfi number for the True Temper Command Wood shafts? Thanks for all you do for us. We'd be lost without you.

Peter,
If you are looking at the graphite models with the name Command, they are listed in the 2016 Shaft Fitting Addendum (Chapter 4, pages 139-140). However, if you are looking for data on a Command steel shaft, we never tested one.

Both the L/A and R/S Apollo Standard Stepped Steel iron shafts are shown as ‘out of stock’. When do you expect these to be back in inventory. Thanks.
Question by: Andy Roberts on Jan 16, 2022, 7:50 AM
The A/L are slated to arrive sometime early in February. For the R/S, we do not have a good date when were will have them back in stock. We currently have a tremendous amount on back order at this time so those will be filled first when we do receive the next shipment(s). I would suggest putting what you want on back order so you are in the queue when they arrive.
