I have a ust recoil 660 shaft. Do you know what shaft extender would fit? Also would this shaft work for your xs hybrid or should I look at a hybrid shaft? Not sure what differences there are in shafts identified as hybrid versus iron shafts.
Question by: Sgtty on Oct 22, 2016, 4:16 AM
Sgtty,

I would recommend the PGGSE-515-YL as the best fitting model. Yes, you could use this shaft into our XS hybrid. Typically hybrid-specific shafts are designed for lighter and longer clubheads labeled as hybrids (typically no heavier than 256 grams).

Do you have a shaft extender that will work with a Junior graphite shaft. The O.D. shown on the literature for these junior clubs is 0.50. I do not know the ID of the shaft.
Question by: David on Oct 23, 2016, 7:17 PM
David,

Sorry, due to the varied sizes that can occur with a junior shaft, there are no commercially available extenders. Best option is to use hardwood dowels from a hardware store and size them to fit.

Do you know which size extenders to use on a set of Taylor Made Rocketballz graphite irons?
Thank you.
Question by: Gary on Feb 20, 2017, 9:04 AM
Gary,

TaylorMade does not provide the specification for the inside diameter of their shafts (actually no graphite shaft maker does) so you will need to remove one of the grips and measure the ID of the shaft.

Looking for shaft extenders for a set of irons using True Temper XP105 shafts. What do you recommend?
Thanks!

Question by: Robert Eye on May 24, 2017, 3:14 PM
Robert,

Use either the steel extender EX600-001 or if using the Parage extenders, the correct code would be PGGSE-560-BK.

Nicolas,

What flex in each?
Answer by: Richard Lin on Oct 13, 2017, 8:10 AM
Okay,

R flex for the 2 shafts

Thanks
Question by: Nicolas on Oct 12, 2017, 9:22 AM
Nicolas,

It is always best to measure them yourself because there is some tolerance, plus depending on how long or short the butt end, the dimensions can vary too. For the Velocity I would use the 0.490" and for the Shadow FL the 0.5225" diameter. If they are a little tight, the stem can be sanded down.

I have Warrior Tour 3.1 golf clubs/graphite shafts. I need to extend the short irons about one inch, what size extenders do you recommend?
Question by: Robert Clark on Apr 26, 2021, 8:53 AM
Unfortunately, you need to remove the grip and measure the inside diameter of the shaft and select the model closest in size. This is not a specification that manufacturers post.

Hi,
I put a 0.470 extender in graphite shaft but it's a little thin inside the shaft. Is it possible to add grip tape on the extension that is inserted in the shaft to fit?
Thanks.
Question by: Nicolas on Jun 4, 2021, 5:23 AM
It depends on how much smaller it is versus the interior of the shaft. You could take masking tape approximately 1/4" wide and barber pole wrap it around the stem and test fit. If it is a little too loose, take another strip of masking tape and reverse wrap it and test fit. If there is still not enough resistance or feels loose, then you may want to reorder with the appropriate size.

Which size is appropriate to extend True Temper Elevate 95 VSS stiff flex steel shafts?
Question by: jjehack on May 6, 2022, 6:37 AM
The True Temper Elevate 95 VSS S-flex iron has a 0.600" butt diameter so you can use the PGGSE-560-BK. Another product you can use is our product code EX600-001, which is made out of steel.

Butt end of my shaft measures 3/8 inch which one of your extensions will fit my shaft?
Question by: Jerry Taylor on May 21, 2022, 12:48 PM
Jerry, 3/8" would be 0.375". None of the extenders will fit that inside diameter which is extremely small. Please remeasure the inside diameter of the shaft.
