What shaft would you recommend with these irons? I was looking at the black steel stepless by Apollo
Question by: Wade Kilpatrick on Jan 1, 2023, 1:41 PM
There is no one recommended shaft for the Juggernaut Max irons. I would base the choice on what shaft or shaft specifications you have used lately that you have hit well.

Do irons come with choice of flex of shafts? I need stiff?
Question by: Mark Donoghue on Jul 13, 2023, 8:41 PM
This product is for the club head only. We currently do not offer any custom assembled clubs at this time. You could purchase the shafts and grips separately and have the clubs built locally.

Can these irons be bent 2 degrees flat ?
Thank You
Question by: charlie weberman on Sep 21, 2023, 3:59 PM
The Juggernaut Max irons are constructed from 17-4 stainless steel and will be extremely difficult to bend at all.
Answer by: Jeff Summitt on Sep 22, 2023, 5:37 AM
Fyi... I am a professional club builder and was able to bend the lie angle of my test 7I from 62.75, down to 62. It took some careful effort, but was doable. The best one could hope for is probably around +/- 1 degree. However, bending the loft angle is very difficult, and probably something to avoid if possible (+/- 1/2 degree is about all one can hope for, and only if you are careful).
1. How do the face thickness of these irons compare to the Prophet CBs. I noticed that the loft/lie specs are the same. Are these faces thinner?
2. What is the reason for the weird jump in lie angels between the 6, 7, and 8 irons, and why wouldn't they normally be 1/2 degree graduated?
Question by: Nate on Sep 24, 2023, 7:10 PM
Nate,

The face is essentially the same thickness as the Prophet CB's. The lie angles are based on several successful models we have made over the years with the same face profile but with improved features.
Answer by: Jeff Summitt on Sep 25, 2023, 5:37 AM
Today if you are going to be successful club builder you have to have clubs that you can give customers what fits them . That is why Hireko should be casting Iron heads with 2 degrees flat and same with upright . Bending 17-4 is not a good thing and Ping has used 17-4 for years but give many options .
Question by: Don Oneill on Apr 30, 2024, 11:34 AM
Don,

While I would love to have heads cast this way, there is just not enough demand to warrant two additional sets of tooling to create an upright and flat set.
