These are great looking clubs.I am waiting for the GW,7 and 6 iron to be available. For whatever reason the heads remind me of Ralph Maltby's designs.I am going to try out the 8 iron tomorrow. When do you expect to have the GW,7 and 6 heads available?
Question by: Bob on Feb 8, 2015, 5:54 PM
Bob,

The first two shipments have already been sold out of those numbers and the next shipment is expected the first week of March. Those are likely to be pre-sold shortly so make sure to place order as soon as possible.

What is it about this head that makes it more susceptible than other heads to topline damage when bending? Do you have any tips or directions for clubmakers who are bending these in a professional bending machine (or is the chance of damage even too great for a professional to undertake?).

Also, when will these heads be available? Was there an original run that sold out? I have seen these heads elsewhere, and some retailers even list them as available.

Thanks.
Question by: Kelly on Mar 5, 2015, 11:04 AM
Kelly,

We are expecting another shipment today but many of the irons are already spoken for in back orders. This will be the third shipment so you can tell they have been popular.

As far as bending, there is a channel running around the head including the topline. I would use enough pressure in the loft/lie machine to secure the head for bending, but don't clamp down excessively.

I play with the power play Caiman x2 now and like them a lot, will these clubs be an improvement over the Caiman.

When will they be available, hardly any in stock
Question by: Dennis Tessmer on Mar 23, 2015, 3:26 PM
Dennis,

The Dynacraft Prophet CB is a special iron focusing on both ultimate distance and accuracy. IMHO it is an upgrade over what you are using. We have already sold through our first 3 shipments, but do not have an ETA on the next shipment yet.

Do the wedges on the 2015 Dynacraft Prophet CB Iron also have a flex face, or are they solid?
Question by: Michael on Mar 28, 2015, 8:07 PM
Michael,

These also have the Flex Face technology.

With this set would there be any reason why anyone would want to purchase the dynacraft driving irons as a long iron replacement given that they seem to be built upon similar technology?
Question by: Vic on Mar 30, 2015, 8:32 PM
Vic,

I doubt many will mix and match these and any of the models from the Dynacraft Driving Iron series. They would almost need to go with a club weaker (i.e. 24º driver iron to #5 -iron) for the same distance and that would mean the driving iron would be a 1/2" longer assembly length and potentially harder for many to control.

When will these heads become available?
Question by: Lee on Apr 6, 2015, 6:17 PM
Lee,

We are now looking at May 10th before they will arrive.

Why is this head "more difficult" to bend given the body is stated to be 431 SS like many of your other irons which do not carry a bending "warning"..?
Question by: Matt on Apr 14, 2015, 1:30 PM
Matt,

The body is 431 stainless but the face is a different material and requires a different heat treating process which changes the the ability to bend it.

Hi Jeff,
thinking of buying these irons. Currently play SE 675 B.
Just checked my old GS catalogue and the measurements are for the
5 iron 83.7mm in length and 51.2 in toe height. Not too concerned about
the latter. But your previous answer to the same question is a bit confusing.
Are these clubs the same size as my irons. If they are I just hit the jackpot!

thanks in advance.
Question by: Siva on Oct 6, 2015, 10:10 AM
Hi Siva,

Unfortunately not all manufacturers measure dimensions the same. Even our longest blade length iron doesn't measure as long as those so it may be a difference in where they are referencing the starting point. The Prophet CB would be a pretty common size - not too larger and not too small.

I have a set of True Temper GS85 R300 shafts would these be suited with the
Dynacraft Prophet CB Irons.
Can the irons be bent to 1.5 deg. upright.
Question by: DAN J on Jan 1, 2016, 8:34 AM
Dan,

As long as you have the 0.370" parallel tip version and that shaft suits your needs for weight (ultra-light) and ball flight (high), the shaft would be compatible with the head. As far as bending, these are very tough to bend. As a result we stopped offering the service of pre-bending.
Answer by: Richard Lin on Jan 2, 2016, 8:01 AM
The option to have these clubs adjusted is not available, does that mean you will not adjust the lie on these?
Question by: Kris on Mar 9, 2016, 2:09 PM
Kris,

We stopped offering the lie altering service on these irons when we had too many episodes of damaging heads in the process.
