Does the Prophet CB iron conform to USGA groove specs? Would like to use my set to play in the USGA Senior Open.
Question by: Bob on Apr 12, 2017, 5:43 AM
Bob,

We have not submitted them to the USGA for a formal ruling.

Looking at building a set of these with either the Fst Pro 115 R trimmed to firm, Apollo Phantom trimmed to firm or the Apollo Aculite 90 trimmed to firm. Looking for a mid - high boring type flight. I hit a 7 iron for 150 yard club, swing to parallel and have between a moderate and quick tempo. What would your recommendation be, one of the shafts I described or something different?
Question by: Rob on Jun 22, 2017, 10:10 AM
Rob,

Of the 3, the FST Pro 115 AR (trimmed more) will launch the ball the lowest. The Phantom would likely hit the ball the highest of the 3. Another shaft in that weight range is the Apollo Spectre Lite. It has a much higher frequency and that would help lower the trajectory.

Are sole widths constant or progressive on these heads? What is sole width on GW?
Question by: mark on Jan 31, 2021, 5:44 PM
Mark,

The #3-9 irons have roughly the same sole witdth, while the wedges are more. The GW's sole width is @ 24.4mm.

Dynacraft Prophet CB Iron - Clubhead when will these be available? Can I order them now and what graphite shaft would you recommend/
Question by: Andrew Solis Mendoza on Mar 6, 2021, 6:22 AM
We have a small shipment expecting to arrive any day now, minus a couple of the irons. You can order them at any time and when they come in we will be shipped out back orders first. As far as what graphite is best for you, we would have to have more information about your swing and what shaft(s) and flex you have recently hit well.

What is SW sole width? Is measurement at widest point or at center of face? I know that the PW & GW are a little wider than 5-9 and was curious if SW was wider yet. Thanks for your response.
Question by: mark on Mar 19, 2021, 4:46 PM
Mark,

The sole width is the same on the SW as the GW.

If I use an A flex shaft in a gap wedge will I get more backspin than an R or wedge flex shaft?
Question by: Robert Woodrick on Sep 15, 2021, 7:56 PM
You might hit the ball slightly higher due to the additional flex (if using the same model shaft), but the spin difference will be nominal at best. However, if you are using Dynamic Gold wedge flex, it is basically a stiff flex so they would be of a difference since that is a low launching shaft versus any A flex steel shaft that will be high or mid launching.
